The Beginning of the Rest of My Life

Congratulations everyone on completing your first day of class! I woke up this morning at 10:00am and had time to shower, eat a hearty breakfast, choose my outfit, do my makeup, dawdle, print a few papers and still get to class on time. Thank you Albert for allowing me to formulate a schedule with only afternoon classes. For me, the classes themselves were not demanding or tiring. I had my Cultural Foundations I class (looks pretty easy, about 20 people, discussion-based) and my Human Evolution class (typical college class, 100 students, first quiz is in two weeks on all 206 human bones, oh god). Instead, I got lost while trying to find my first class (Google Maps said it was on Washington Square W!) and had to walk all the way to the other side of the park to the east, forgot my planner in the Waverly building, bought six books that were the wrong editions, had to go back to exchange them and walked 10 blocks just for free printing. My roommate had a three hour choreography rehearsal and just returned from her introductory Sign Language class, confused whether or not she has homework because the teacher only communicated with signs... Are we repping the confused college freshmen, or nah?

We decided to reward ourselves with fancy pasta and pizza tonight at an Italian restaurant a few blocks down. They have the best mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes and sausages. After our filling meal, we trudged back to the dorms with our food babies, but not before I grabbed a smoothie from Palladium to help with digestion. ;) Overall, I'd say today was 85% successful.
