Why We Hate Mondays

I hate Mondays, you hate Mondays, we all hate Mondays. Just as we've finally conquered the week and made it to Friday, two days fly by and it's once again the beginning of endless piles of essays, assignments and all-nighters.

My Monday consisted of waiting in lines. I waited in line to take an elevator to class, I waited in line to enter NYU's club fair and finally, I waited in line to get dinner in the Kimmel dining hall. (Is NYU overpopulated or what?) Luckily, I was able to rest for a few hours today in Bobst Library, where I found the perfect study spot, complete with comfy sofas and a killer view. While doing some homework, a girl sat down in front of a window near my seat and she kindly agreed to let me snap a shot of her reading. Being able to read or study in a twelve-story library after class while surrounded by books of various ages, backgrounds and stories is truly a blessing.

Monday's weather was the coolest it has been since I arrived in New York: 70 degrees with the perfect amount of wind. I finally had the chance to wear one of the six pairs of jeans I brought with me from home, as well as a scarf. Add a pair of headphones and warm sweater, and you've got the perfect outfit for fall in New York City.

I'm currently thinking of ways to wrap up to my post, but I'm so exhausted from my day that I've already lost my train of thought. I hope your Mondays were less frantic and fast-paced as mine. This is probably a good time for me to try out our new Keurig machine...
