Spring Update // The Week of Finals

What's on the finals menu? This semester, I have three finals in philosophy, literature and intensive Italian. I have to say that I'm completely exhausted and have been suffering through a week-long bout of writer's block (aside from the essays I've written for class, of course.) Over the past seven days, I studied at various coffeeshops, cafes, bookstores, Bobst library, my dorm room, on the subway and lastly, the hotel room that my mom is staying at. At the hotel, I've been spending my long nights soaking in the hotel room tub which has its own built-in jacuzzi. Cue sighs of relaxation: "Ahhh." I also performed with the NYU Women's Choir in their spring concert set last weekend. I will be finishing up my last final on Tuesday, but until then, you can probably find me around the city stressing out, eating food that I no longer have to spend my own money on, taking bubble baths with bath bombs, or all three.

Pictured here is my friend Julia studying at an eco-friendly coffeeshop in Soho. We spent the day studying Italian for two to three hours; it was a nice place! Maman is a French-style bakery with delicious chai lattes, pretty coffee cups and cozy vibes. Where is your favorite place to study?
